The Sfoggia Vento Smart Trailed Precision Drill range is made up 2 different models:

• 8 Rows – 70/75cm spacing
• 12 Rows -45/50cm spacing

Both models feature the same four wheel chassis design. When in transport the Vento Smart runs on just two wheels, in comparison all four wheels are used during the drilling operation. The telescopic axles allow the wheels to run between the drill units, never in front of them. As a result, this helps to minimise compaction in the root area.  In addition, a 4000 litre fertiliser hopper is fitted to both versions.

Seeding Units

The large capacity seed hoppers sit on top of the easy to adjust seeding units. A wide variety of crops and seed types can be catered for. This is thanks to the ability to quickly and also easily change seeding discs. In addition, thanks to in house production, seeding discs can also be produced to suit your own requirements.

Two versions of the Vento Smart seeding unit are available. For those who want a simple machine, a version with fully mechanically chain and sprocket driven seeder units is available. For those who require more control of the seeding process, there is also the Elektra Drive version.

If required, it is also possible to manually disable seeding units. This is don  on the mechanical drive versions by the removal of a pin.

Disc openers are fitted as standard also allowing the Vento Smart to drill direct into un-cultivated ground. A wide range of disc options can also be fitted in front of the unit to assist with both direct drilling and conventional drilling.

An upcoming feature will be the ability to fit a conventional grain toolbar to the machine. In this form, the fertiliser hopper will become the seed hopper for the machine. As a result, the Vento Smart will become a truly versatile machine for the establishment of many crops on the farm.

Elektra Drive

The Elektra Drive system adds a high level of control of the seeding operation. Thanks to an in cab touch screen control panel, all sowing parameters can be set from the operators seat. This includes seed populations and also spacing. In addition, the whole system has its own battery. This is charged by an alternator mounted on the fan unit. Single row control is also possible with this system. The Elektra Drive system is also IsoBus compatible.

Options

A wide range of optional equipment can also be fitted to the Vento Smart range.

• Micro-granular kit – Allows granular crop protection and nutrition products to be placed with the seed.
• Variable pitch frame – Allows easy adjustment of the inter-row spacing
• GPS integration with the Elektra Drive System
