The Sfoggia Air Precision Drill range is made up of two models, the 2.5 and the 3. The Air 2.5 has a 2.5 metre transport width whereas it is 3 metres with the Air 3. The following row configuration options are possible:
Air 2.5
- 6-6 – Telescopic to 45cm-50cm-55cm-60cm-65cm-70cm-75cm
- 6-7 – Fixed to 6x70cm – 6x75cm – 7x45cm – 7x50cm
- 8 – Fixed to 8x45cm – 8x50cm
Air 3
- 8-8 – Telescopic to 45cm-50cm-55cm-60cm-65cm-70cm-75cm
- 8-9 – Fixed to 8x70cm – 8x75cm – 9x45cm – 9x50cm
Seeding Units
The large capacity seed hoppers of either 30 or 58 litres sit on top of the easy to adjust seeding units. A wide variety of crops and seed types can be catered for thanks to the ability to quickly and also easily change seeding discs. In addition, thanks to in house production, seeding discs can also be produced to suit your own requirements.
Two versions of the Air are available, for those who want a simple machine a version with fully mechanically chain and sprocket driven seeder units is available. Additionally for those who require more control of the seeding process, there is the Elektra Drive version.
Disc openers are fitted as standard also allowing the Air to drill direct into un-cultivated ground.
Elektra Drive
The Elektra Drive system adds a high level of control of the seeding operation. Thanks to an in cab touch screen control panel, all sowing parameters can be set from the operators seat. This includes seed populations and also spacing. In addition, the whole system has its own battery which is charged by an alternator mounted on the fan unit. Single row control is also possible with this system.
Where the optional fertiliser or micro-granular kit is fitted, the Elektra Drive system is also able to control these.
