IRRILAND IRRIGATION BOOMS – RAPTOR & HERON
Irriland irrigation booms allow the most fragile crops to be irrigated without damaging them.
Combination with Irriland automatic hard hose reels provides perfect synchronism that allows rapid pulls and optimal operation at a pressure of 0.1 Mpa (1 Bar).
Irriland irrigation booms are designed to allow the most fragile crops to be irrigated safely. When combined with the Irriland range of hose reel irrigators rapid pulls can be achieved. Most importantly all models have an optimal operating pressure of 0.1 Mpa/1 Bar.
All booms allow for the distribution of large capacities of water thanks to the special nebulization system of the nozzles. All nozzles are mounted at a spacing of 1 metre apart. As a result this allows for uniform distribution of water, even in strong winds. In addition it offers versatility in use coupled with low operational costs.
RAPTOR Series
The Raptor series of irrigation booms benefit from a fully galvanized construction. As a result of its foldable design, quick installation and set up can be achieved in the field by just one person. In addition, all models of the Raptor can be carried by the irrigation reel for transport between fields. This means that a second tractor and person is not required. For small movements within the field, the unfolded boom can also be carried on the hose reel if space allows.
Should the full working width not be required, individual nozzles can be turned off to conserve water. Raptor booms can also be fitted with an optional hydraulic raising and lowering system. This allows the working height to be varied between one and three metres from the ground. All Raptor booms are fitted with a special auto-levelling system. This helps to maintain maximum stability at all times.
HERON Series
The Heron range offers a more economical alternative to growers.
Quick installation is possible in the field. This is thanks to the special coupling systems used. In addition, the unfolded boom can be moved short distances on the hose reel if space allows. As a result this can offer significant time savings during the se
Being a more simple boom, they do not offer the same degree of adjustment offered by the Raptor range. However, they do share the same nozzle design features. This ensures that accurate applications are always carried out. The Heron features manual boom levelling. Once set up this makes it an incredibly stable boom.
Despite being a more economical boom, the Heron still features a robust design. It also makes full use of galvanized materials for a long life in the field.
