Full Details
The CMC ST350 Compost Turner is a heavy duty machine suitable for tractors with a minimum of 100hp. It is fitted with a 3.5 metre long horizontal rotor fitted with a bladed auger. As a result, this ensures that all compost windrows are thoroughly turned and mixed. This most importantly creates and maintains the optimal conditions for composting to take place.
Thanks to its design, the CMC ST350 Compost Turner is able to accommodate a windrow of 4 metres wide by 1.9 metres in height. In addition, it is capable of travelling at a speed of between 100 & 750 metres per hour. This figure will vary based upon windrow size, density and stage of composting. Material throughput figures of up to 1200 cubic metres per hour can be achieved in ideal conditions.
The ST350 features hydraulic adjustment of both the working depth and drawbar alignment. There is also an option for front shovels and also a watering system to be fitted.
Whilst a tractor of a minimum of 100hp is needed, it is essential that it also has either a creeper or variable transmission.
